Contagion: Movie that sort of Predicted the Coronavirus

The English movie Contagion, released in 2011 with predictions of the characteristics of the COVID-19 epidemic, is believed to be a film set against a corona infection's backdrop.

When the movie was released, did anyone think that the film would predict an epidemic in 2020? I don't think so, because then the people of the world would be more aware.

From the very beginning of watching the movie, one hears the sound of a calm cough, which was never considered evil. As expressed in the first few moments of the 2011 film "Contagion."

The opening shot of the movie is not a shot at all. This is a black screen. In the audio, you hear coughing. Then another and another. But by 2020, we know how many types of complex diseases can be transmitted by some cough, sneezing, and dust.

Some of the early scenes in the movie "Contagion" show that director Steven Soderbergh's camera roll has been plain regular for a while, with some scenes being tied to specific events. Peanuts in a bowl at the airport's pub bar; Chrome handle of an official bus; and after all these shots, the camera scene was left by going to the kitchen counter. Every item scene in the movie is like a horror movie. The nuts in the bowl, the handle of the bus, and every inanimate object in the kitchen are being brought to life by the director's charismatic touch.

Every object shown in the movie is involved at once with a fancy virus born in Asia. Bat is flying from a bright rain forest. The breed overcomes the barrier when it infects a pig in a noisy market in China, and when the virus moves from the pig to an Asian restaurant in Chicago with one of the carriers, Gainath Paltrow. Where actor Beth, who starred in the butcher scene, shake Gwyneth Paltrow's hand.

By infecting restaurants, adjoining casinos, airports, airplanes, and all the people who have touched her and those who talk to her, Beth has become a separate medium for transmitting a new mysterious virus. Everyone is infected with the virus through each other. And so the virus spreads geometrically around the world.

Contagion is a breathtaking thriller, with the movie's large cast and exciting plotline. The virus is the lone hero who fights beyond its means to establish his control over the world. Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 epidemic, "Contagion" was spreading around the world with its horrors, and where all the nations of the world were stunned.

School and other government buildings were closed as the virus-infected epidemics in movie scenes. Commercial fitness centers stand alone without a man. On the eve of the lockdown, people have to eat canned fruits and dried food at home.

People became panicked as the shortage of these products started in the shops. Seeing the situation as strange, the top officials kept urging the people to stay at home. Physicians were appealing to everyone to adhere to "hygiene" and "social distance."

The movie shows that the mortality rate due to virus infection is much higher than COVID-19. Perhaps as a result of the cinematic transformation, the director superfilmically caused the rapid-transmission of the virus.

The movie shows that the virus almost instantly makes its victims sick and often kills infected people within a day, not as slow as corona infection.

Authorities were forced to keep patients infected with the virus, along with other patients, because the hospital did not have enough space. "We put good people by the side of sick people and hope they don't get sick too" - this was a dialogue from Laurence Fishburne, who played the role of CDC (Central Disease Control) officer in the movie.

The scenes that are shown in the movie are ordinary people are far from it; even many people with immune systems do not have immunity.

Famous people who live inadequately safe homes, travel in private cars avoiding noise, who are always treated with care by their physicians have become extremely susceptible to the painful death of the virus just like ordinary beings. You can imagine how horrible it is!

The scene from the movie "Contagion" left a lasting impression on me - During the initial autopsy, two pathologists opened the skull of a virus-infected dead man and folded the head and forehead's skin over his face.

A pathologist was surprised to see the virus inside the patient's brain and said, "Oh my God!" he yelled at his partner to move away from the patient's body. Frightenly, his assistant asked, "Shall I call someone?" The virus infection specialist then said- "Right now! Call everyone now!"

The breathtaking "Contagion" stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Matt Damon, John Hawks, Jude Law, Marian Cotillard, Kate Winslet, Elliott Gold, and Brian Cranston.

So far, most countries have praised the doctors for their sense of mutual sacrifice in the COVID-19 epidemic. The same happened in the movie. But I think the scene in the film is more horrible than Covid-19.

In the current global corona horror context, the regular nervous system of a person, who has been under house arrest for a long time, may have a slight breakdown. Many have less ability to accept many events or flows.

It is better not to watch the movie "Contagion" made with some horrible flash scenes during the virus epidemic.
