How to Actually Wake Up Early

Take a minute to think how much more fruitful you would be if you could wake up just one or two hours earlier in the morning. There wouldn’t be anything and no one to distract you from what you want!

The only stuff you avoid are the sleeping habits you have developed over the years. You may have tried in the past to change these patterns, but it is hard to do without the right strategies.

Luckily, I will share five tips that will make a slice of cake wake every morning!

1. Go faster to sleep!

This may be the most significant tip. You can’t really expect to sleep at 1 am, and then wake up as fresh as a daisy at 5 am. Seven hours of sleep is a good rule of thumb. It means you can sleep at 10 pm if you want to wake up at 5 am.

2. Create a routine.

The human mind reacts well to repetition and easily becomes repetitive. In the example above, I said that you should sleep by 10:00 pm, well that means that, no later than 9:30 pm, you should also be in bed. Even before that you have a chance to prepare your mind and body for sleep.

It would be a good practice to complete all activities and duties before 8:00 pm and then perhaps start to unwind by taking a bath and reading a book. Do this for a few days and you will soon find that you are tired as soon as you pick your book, because your mind knows it’s time to sleep in keeping with the routine you follow.

3. Place your alarm on the other side of the room!

Perhaps the snooze button is your worst enemy to wake up sooner. That’s why you should set the alarm for the time you want to wake up (do not try to deceive yourself when you set it early and then hide for 30 minutes) and put it somewhere to shut it off. Perhaps you would like to set up two or three alarms in this way!

4. Take a drink.

After seven hours of sleep the body is dehydrated. That’s why putting a glass of water by your pillow is a good idea. Drink the full glass of water as soon as you wake up (or shut those alarms off!). This moisturizes and energizes your body, making you feel much wider and less likely to hop back to bed.

5. Setup your computer. Program your mind.

This may sound difficult because you’re not a robot or a machine, but you really can use a technique known as hypnosis to program your mind.

Hypnosis refers to the part of your mind that keeps your rituals and behaviors and therefore is so effective for people who want to leave or lose weight. It’s the same thing to wake up early. Hypnosis MP3s on waking early can be found and they really work!

Many of us have difficulty waking up every morning. In reality, many have dreams that lose their jobs or fail classes because they can’t wake up if they are to sleep. Here are some tips to help you wake up on time every morning, without thinking about sleep.

It’s important to sleep a lot.

Most of us know how many hours and when we have to sleep more. For example, I normally sleep for eight hours and wake up for many days before the alarm rings. But if I didn’t sleep enough, then I can’t even be woken by a loud alarm. Or if I wake up because of the shrill alarm clock noise, I’m in bad mood all day long.

Sleeping hours should also be a time spent in bed while you need adequate sleep. You must stop any distractions or anything between you and your body. For one, you have to make sure the mattress is comfortable and has no "holes" that could make your bones suffer the next day.

The room temperature should also be in a good state: in the house it should not be too warm or too cold. Avoid light entering the room at dawn by heavy curtains and cloths. Make sure the room is completely quiet by shutting all windows and removing the television.

Follow the body’s rhythm and pattern.

Our bodies adopt a circadian rhythm that is similar every night. Therefore, it is important to sleep every night at the same time, so that you are able to wake up every morning. Always remember that the people sleep period is 90 minutes, meaning that our sleep cycles regularly every 90 minutes. So try sleeping for 90 minutes several times.

Use affirmations every night when you go to sleep and use them. You can quickly, for example, say to yourself a few times "I will wake up at 7:00 am tomorrow morning." Tell 5-10 times that. If you say this clearly, don’t worry if you have no conviction. Even so, your subconscious mind can follow these instructions, and you will be shocked if you are actually able to wake up without an alarm clock at that moment.

Use a good alarm clock to wake you up quickly. If you don’t like the traditional alarm clocks shrill loud noise, you can easily use something else that vibrates or flashes alight before your eyes. When waking people up without a headache or a bad mood, they are quite good.
