I visited Khardungla Pass at 2nd October. Khardungla pass is the 2nd highest motorable road in the world which is located in Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
It was 18380 feet higher from sea level! Can you just believe that! The place was too cold, temparature was -2 degree celcius. Because of height we experienced breathing problem and it was hard to bear.
But the beauty of the nature was just outstanding! There are some temporary restaurants which is organized by Indian Army. I ordered hot maggy noodles & coffee there to escape from coldness.
You can easily travel to Khardungla pass by hiring a jeep or micro from Leh city. It will take like one hour to go there. I will come up with all details of my India tour very soon. Thanks for reading.
