Start Your Day with Positive Energy: How Do I Do It?

How you start your day determines how successful it is for the next few hours, which can even decide your entire life over a certain period of time.

This is exactly why the first hour is often called the day’s steering wheel. But it is my individual preference to designate two hours for each day instead of just one.

Morning Routine

The explanation for this is simply because it is important to begin every day mentally and physically in a high degree as the two are mutually dependent and have to work together to achieve a particular task.

Since going to bed early (and at certain times), it is safe to wake up at approximately 5:00 am as soon as possible the next day. I dedicated 5:00 am to 6:00 am for mental sleep, and read something good for 50 minutes straight away.

This can be inspiring, spiritually uplifting or something relevant to personal development. It’s important to focus especially on what you are doing in the first few hours of the day, since the mind often acts as a sponge for anything to which it is exposed.

So, if you wanted to focus on a problem you face right now and do the job; that would be a clear indication of how you would spend the rest of the day. But you'll have begun the day off with an acceptable dose of rocket fuel if you hit the book you pre-elected and set aside the night before and take it first thing. I have a list of things that I thank for reminding me of what I did or lost due to negligence and irresponsibility. I've got this collection pasted on the wall of the bedroom.

So when I switch on my very bright photographic lights and draw the curtains wide open every morning, I turn my head quickly and start reading the list. I use picture light bulbs as they appear to sleep in a couple of minutes whilst at any given time enhancing the whole room. Then I pour a strong cup of coffee and start reading the content selected. Following roughly 50 minutes reading, I change my clothes and switch into my running gear and leave for a 30 minute intense pace interval training session.

I have preferred to practice pace interval by jogging or running, because it is said to be much more effective than any other type of aerobic exercise. The variety of speeds invigorates the whole body and pumps fresh oxygen to your brain cells, leaving you at a natural high all day. You will not only be conscious that most of your fears and negative thoughts are almost immediate, but you will also have an ease of feeling that is going to help you get through your everyday activities as easily as possible.

My next stop is the toilet. I take a quick shower, brush my teeth and shave everything while I think about what I have to do over the whole day and how I can optimize my performance for every job that I have to do. If anything important comes to mind, I'll certainly write it in my diary as soon as I get out of the shower. You know it's not very common now a days to write diary, but I do it.

Then I spend 10-20 minutes on my spiritual plane, which can be prayer or meditation. I would have a breakfast after I reconnected with my faith while reading and updating my target list. I have also registered the objectives in audio format so that I can listen to them at will again and again. Most people prefer to write down and rewrite them throughout the day and although this strategy is extremely effective, I’d prefer my personal assistant (or my music player) to do the work for me.

If I am absolutely clear of what needs to be done during the day, after a light and high-energy breakfast I will list everything and address everything, one vital task at a time.

Otherwise, I would sit in silence for about half an hour and let my scattered thoughts take shape before I put them on paper. The value of a job can be determined by defining its potential impact for either choosing or failing to do it.

It is enough to know that living every minute and day as if your entire life were dependent on it, would create a plenty of life, of which you have always dreamed, otherwise you would be sorry to look back for many years. And nothing is as different as the way you react to this "delete countdown2" every day.

When you wake up in the morning directly contributes to how you spend the rest of the day. This is why people are wondering which side of the bed you woke up according to your mood.

The good news is that in reality, you can lead to how happy and positive you are with a few simple tricks throughout the day. Whether you feel happy as soon as you wake up, you can expect to be as optimistic and fun for you the rest of the day.

Snooze and dream

Most people hit the snooze button in order to sleep a little longer. Alternatively, snooze for a few minutes in order to imagine the day. Talk about what you want to do and how you expect to do so and do so to inspire you. Viewing stuff induces anticipation and you can look forward to the rest of the day.

Do the mirror trick

It is as simple as standing before your mirror and greeting you with a beautiful smile. If you look at yourself smiling makes the morning happier, lighter and healthier and you will probably remain so for the rest of the day. Turn and smile in the mirror and see how beautiful it is to you.

Move your body

Starting the day with exercise helps you moving forward for a productive and inspired day. You don’t even have to do rigorous exercises, it could be as simple as walking, jogging or just swimming around your block. Endorphins and blood flow to your brain are induced and stress levels are that, which makes the day brighter.

Sometimes you need a little boost to keep you focused, which inspired quotes are going to do for you. You should ensure that you get good morning quotes to start your day. The good thing about the quotes is that you can spread the joy by giving them to family and friends and making a day.

Consider aromatherapy

This is a simple but effective way to elevate your sensory experience and to relax and activate the senses. Essential oils such as lemon, rosemary and peppermint can do you wonder when adding a few drops in your bath water. You will like how relaxing the aromas are, so you feel joyful because every exhalation you take is stressful. There are so many essential oils that you can select according to your personal preferences.

Choose colorful clothes

Adding color makes you feel energetic and courageous in dealing with anything that day brings. Red seems to be one of the best colors to start your day high and make it special, but there are many more with similar effects too.
